Gaurika Singh Wins Her 100m Backstroke Heat

Gaurika Singh, a 13-year-old youngest Olympic participant at Rio 2016, wins her 100m backstroke heat.

However, her timing wasn’t good enough to compete with the elder swimmers and she couldn’t qualify to the next round. Nevertheless, she won a round while being the youngest athlete. That’s an achievement in itself.

Given her age and the skill, she is definitely a star worth counting on.
